Wooldridge Elementary

As part of Austin Independent School District’s (AISD) historic $2.44 billion bond program, Wooldridge Elementary was identified for a full modernization of its aging 1969 facility. Quietly nestled within a north Austin neighborhood, the school has served as a trusted educational anchor for generations. When AISD engaged our team, we were asked to evaluate whether the existing building could be restored to meet modern learning standards or whether a new facility would better serve students and the broader community. After rigorous programmatic and facilities analyses, we determined that a new building offered the greatest long-term value and the most flexibility to meet AISD’s evolving educational goals.
