St. Louis Commons

Founded in 1952, St. Louis King of France Catholic Church was established to serve the growing North Austin community. Just four years later, the parish opened its school with 245 students in grades one through seven. Over the decades, the campus evolved into a thriving pre-K through eighth-grade institution, including a Montessori program for ages three to five, earning a reputation as a destination school. As the church and school flourished, new buildings were added across the 22-acre campus. However, with time, the aging facilities no longer met the needs of the parish’s educational goals or community activities, creating a need for updated, adaptable spaces.
