Project Description
Originally built in 1971 and connected to four residence halls, the Commons has long served as an essential student services and dining facility on the south side of campus. The Commons had not been renovated since 1988, and the dark outdated building no longer met the needs of a dynamic student population. In keeping with the university’s strategic priorities and dedication to student success, we were initially engaged to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study. After evaluating whether to rebuild or renovate, our team was ultimately chosen to revitalize the Commons into a modern, inclusive, and future-focused student hub, ensuring its continued significance within the campus community.
