Project Description
Most people look at this and go, why would you reuse an old mall? But the amount of space it gives, what the architects did to come in and carve through it—literally cutting through part of a mall and giving more space back to the indoor/outdoor experience that ACC has to offer, taking dark spaces and putting them in the center, making sure light-filled spaces needed light—it’s that really thoughtful programmatic insertions into a beast of a building that has completely given it new life within a large urban context.
